Animal + Mythos Totem Intaglios
Each of these hand-carved amulets features a unique rendering of an animal totem or mythological creature.
Carved in natural stone by artisans in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar and set in gold-plated brass or silver, no two amulets are the same. Each carries its own expression, and energy—meant to be chosen intuitively.
Horse
A symbol of freedom, power, and intuition, the horse represents unbridled spirit and forward momentum. In ancient cultures, it was seen as a guide between the physical and spiritual worlds—grace in motion and strength in surrender.
Goat
Known for its agility, independence, and resilience, the goat is a totem of determination and resourcefulness. In myth and folklore, it’s a creature that knows how to climb the steepest terrain with sure-footed grace—reminding us to keep ascending, even when the path is uncertain.
Winged Goat
A rarer mythical form, the winged goat speaks to the integration of earth and sky—rooted in endurance, yet expansive in spirit. It represents ambition that is both grounded and visionary: the ability to carry the weight of life while still reaching higher realms.
Bull
A deeply ancient symbol of fertility, strength, and sacred will, the bull was honored across Anatolia, Mesopotamia, and Egypt as a divine creature. It carries the energy of grounded power, masculine life force, and unwavering determination.
Wolf
Guide of the night and protector of the wild, the wolf symbolizes intuition, loyalty, and inner knowing. Revered in myth as a teacher and pathfinder, the wolf invites us to walk with both independence and deep connection to the pack or soul tribe.
Camel
Enduring, wise, and unshakably steady, the camel is a symbol of sustained strength and inner reserve. Known for surviving long spiritual or physical journeys, the camel reminds us that we already carry everything we need for the path ahead.
Phoenix
A mythic emblem of transformation, renewal, and immortality, the phoenix rises from the ashes to begin again—stronger, wiser, and more luminous. It is the ultimate totem of rebirth, sacred fire, and the power of the soul to transcend.
Sphinx
Part winged lion, part human, the sphinx guards the liminal space between the seen and unseen. It represents mystery, sacred knowledge, and the union of strength and wisdom. A totem of deep questions, it reminds us that truth often lies just beneath the surface.
