New Moon at 23° Aquarius

In Astrology, when two celestial bodies meet at the same point in the sky, it is known as a Conjunction. When the Sun conjuncts the Moon, it creates a New Moon. The Sun is in Aquarius (from Jan 21st to Feb 18th) and the Moon will meet him at 23° Aquarius on February 11th (exact time above), creating a New Moon in this sign.
Known as the water-bearer, symbolically and eternally giving life and spiritual food to the world. The water from the vessel washes away the past, leaving room for a fresh, new start. As the ruler of the future, Aquarius is forward-looking and growth-oriented, concerned with equality, opportunities, and individual freedom, the pillars of the future we are building right now. Aquarius seeks to dispense his knowledge, and his vision of equality and individuality, to all.
The Aquarius New Moon focuses our attention on change, progress, transformation, evolution, the future, and our highest ideals. The Aquarian mission is to heal the wounds of alienation, isolation, inequality, and injustice, the wounds from the past. The Aquarian spirit makes us feel included, safe, and hopeful. We know that we are not alone. Each one of us is an important part of the whole, and has a unique role to play. Aquarius knows that those in power attempt to neutralize, discredit, and even eradicate those who disrupt the status quo. In his quest for universal freedom, equality and innovation, Aquarius symbolizes the eternal struggle between the old and new orders. When the status quo becomes oppressive, we must step forward to create transformation and renewal. To fight for the collective good, we must reawaken the power of our soul. This is so relevant to what we are collectively going through as a species! Also... Trump's impeachment trials begin on the same week! ;) I HEAR YOU, UNIVERSE!!!!
Healing the Aquarian wound:
Each of the twelve zodiac archetypes represents a different archetypal wound, and a solution for its healing. There is an element of irony in each archetypal wound. Our wounds are expressed as challenges, and apparent weaknesses, that are exactly opposite to our innate gifts and strengths.
Ironically, the Aquarian wound is one of feeling left out, or ostracized, by the larger community of which we are all a part. Our Aquarius wound can be healed by making our special contribution to the world. To heal, we must be of service to the greater whole, and work for the greater good. In service, we experience the human condition and open our hearts. It is through offering our unique gifts that we become a contributory instrument to the human evolutionary process. Nothing makes Aquarius happier than advancing the evolution of the human condition.
Any act of kindness, any service that we willing share, can shift our experience of 'feeling left out' and release the imprint of isolation from our energy field. The reality is, that the more we embrace our authentic selves and follow our own truth, the more we have to offer. The more we actively participate in the world, the more we connect with others, and the more we experience our common humanity.
Our healing happens as we open our hearts, where we experience our oneness with all human beings. This oneness transcends ideology, nationality, race, sex and religious belief systems. Love exists and compassion expresses beyond such categories.
Set Goals & Intentions:
New Moons are our monthly chance to let the Universe know exactly what we want. On the night of the New Moon, write a list of goals and intentions for the next six months*, make vision boards, write to-do lists, and make short-term plans with friends and loved ones. You're designing the life of your dreams, making monthly arrangements. This Month's New Moon is infused with Aquarian energy. Aquarius cares about your relationship to the Collective, how involved you are with your community, how devoted you are to your friends, how important it is for you to be your best self. This New Moon makes us aware of our role as an agent of change, and reminds us that our personal and collective future depends upon our choices. What is your unique and vital role? What is your next step to more actively contribute to planetary healing?
* After every New Moon, there's a Full Moon in the same sign six months later: that's our chance to look back, check how our manifestation did, and celebrate our progress. This year's Full Moon in Aquarius is on Jul 23rd.

Work with your 11th House:
Aquarius rules the 11th House, home of your friends, colleagues, and social circles; your accomplishments and the freedom gained from it; popularity, uniqueness, and rebellion. The New Moon is inviting you to pay attention to this life area. Let this lunar cycle (the next four weeks, until the next New Moon – in Pisces) be filled with activities surrounding the wellbeing of your 11th House.
This house is a tricky one to define! The 11th House is where both individual aspirations take flight and where we feel most profoundly, the power and influence of the groups we belong to. Look across your chart's wheel to your 5th House (ruled by Leo – Aquarius' opposite pole), where your special talents and personality are in the spotlight. In the 11th House, that shiny presence with those particular gifts is shared with the wider world. The response, as well as the ripple effect of your performance on the world stage, is very Eleventh House. Challenges in this House can have to do with sharing your unique fabulousness, with the right people. Dealing with criticism, popularity, alienation, lack of privacy, and the flashes!

Apothecary – Witch Hazel – Essential Oil:
This Moon Aquarius demands us to dream big and wakes up the visionary in all of us. For those who tend to spend a little too much time in the clouds or daydreaming, Witch Hazel flower essence helps us ground in reality without smothering our Aquarian visions. Witch Hazel Essential Oil is also a brilliant ally in fighting wintertime's skin conditions from dryness, acne, and bag eyes to non-seasonal conditions as stretch marks, rashes, and scars. Crystology - Labradorite:
Labradorite is known to strengthen the aura, boost psychic gifts (an Aquarius favorite), and increase intelligence. She is great to work with around Waning and New Moons, while the veil between worlds is still thin, and we are seeking for answers and guidance from other realms. My girl likes darkness! She also helps us see with more clarity, by uncover illusions: perfect to set goals around a New Moon in Aquarius which may sometimes push us to dream (a little) too big. Labradorite makes sure you can dream big and tap into your imagination with your feet well grounded. Clairvoyance, divination, automatic writing and other psychic abilities are known to increase under her influence, so she is also a great ally for a New Moon tarot spread or any sort of divination! If you know someone who tends to be a little... delusional, gift her a Labradorite charged with an intention. Works like magic, baby!
